Originally based in North Carolina, Spin City Productions was established November 23, 2016 by legendary barber icon, Ron “Spin City” Spencer. Spin City Production’s goal is to seamlessly change the dynamic & rhetoric of the Barbering industry. Society has rebuked the idea of barbering as a negative thing or a profession that isn’t favorable when in reality it’s more to it than “cutting hair.” Did you know that barbering is one of world’s oldest and most honorable profession, with a rich history.
Trichology (medical term for barbering) is the study of the hair and scalp. The word “trichology” stems from the Greek word, ‘Trikhos’, meaning ‘hair’. It became a specific para-medical discipline in 1902.
